tasteful artistic nude, non-sexual, figure seated on the edge of a small stage, pulling back a tall velvet theater curtain to reveal cluttered backstage: scattered notebooks, tangled wires, a single spotlight bulb lying on the floor; expression half-smile, inviting, vulnerable. symbolism of revealing the build, not just the show.

fine-art photography, warm tungsten + faint daylight mix, shallow depth, subtle grain, editorial composition, 50mm, 1:1, high-res, no text or logos.

Some of you already know what Barely-Said is becoming.
A podcast. A monologue series. A creative protest. A personal invitation.
But it’s also a beast of a project, and I’ve realized something:
If I want people to feel the truth behind it, they need to see the build—not just the result.

So welcome to Barely Brief—a semi-weekly update on everything happening behind the scenes.
Every other Friday, I’ll post a status update like this one. Think of it as a transparent log of progress, problems, pivots, and weird nudity-related tech mishaps.

🎙 WHY NOW?

Because it’s time to start showing up—not just through voice or photos, but through production.
Each update will include a short, scripted video that captures where we’re at—what’s been built, what’s stuck, and what’s next.
This isn’t just to inform. It’s to reflect. To ground the project in process, not polish.
And it’s for the people who are quietly rooting for this to work.

🔧 WHAT TO EXPECT IN “BARELY BRIEF”

Starting Friday, August 29, I’ll cover:

  • 🎙 The current Barely-Said Podcast status
  • 📝 Monologue updates and behind-the-scenes notes
  • 📊 Platform growth and posting challenges
  • 🔮 What’s coming next (topics, experiments, guest ideas?)
  • 📍Open invites to help out—especially if you’re local to Olympia, WA

If you want to watch this project rise from awkward idea to fully built series, stick around.
And if you’re the kind of person who sees art in honesty… this might be your space too.
