I used to think modesty was about dignity.
But dignity doesn’t change when a shirt comes off. Perception does.
A man on a rooftop with his shirt off is “working hard.”
A woman in the same position is “seeking attention.”
That’s not morality—it’s conditioning.
We were taught that modesty protects us. But who is it really protecting? And from what?
The truth is, modesty standards often have less to do with the body…
and more to do with who’s looking at it.
That’s why nudity isn’t the problem.
It’s how the world reacts when it’s not on their terms.
